2012 GBW Spelling Bees
2012 GBW Grades 3-6 Scripps National Spelling Bee
HELP NEEDED! We need 3 judges and 2 pronouncers for this year’s Spelling Bee (held on 2 separate days, February 3 (Gr 3-6) and March 2 (Gr K-2)). Parents, teachers, and/or staff, whose child is not participating in this year’s spelling bee, please consider being one of our judges/pronouncers.

Date for this year’s Spelling Bees: (NOTE: Dates have been changed please pay attention)
GBW’s Gr 3-6 Spelling Bee is set for Friday, February 3, 2012 at 6:00 pm (The winner of this bee will move on to the Fairfax County Spelling Bee to be held on March 18, 2012, to represent GBW for the Scripps National Bee)
GBW’s K-2 Spelling Bee is set for Friday, March 2, 2012 at 6:00 pm (This will be the first time we will crown a GBW Spelling Champion amidst the K-2 students)
Important Information/Dates:
- Friday, January 27 6:00-8:30 pm (Practice Bee: GBW Gym) for Grades 3-6
- Friday, February 3 6:00-8:30 pm (Actual Bee: GBW Gym) for Grades 3-6
- Friday, February 17 6:00-8:30 pm (Actual Bee: GBW Gym) for Grades 3-6 (SNOW DATE)
- Friday, February 24 6:00-8:30 pm (Practice GBW Bee: GBW Gym) for Grades K-2
- Friday, March 2 6:00-8:30 pm (Actual GBW Bee: GBW Gym) for Grades K-2
